Email Marketing Retention Strategist

Senior Exec Level (Klaviyo) – Remote

Pay: £32,000-£42,000 per year FTE

About the Role

We are hiring a full-time Email Marketing Strategist (30 or 40 hours a week) to manage the delivery, quality and coordination of email marketing work for our clients. You will lead the day-to-day delivery of Klaviyo email flows, campaigns, segmentation and client communication.

This is a hands-on email marketing role focused on:

  • Delivery

  • Project management

  • Quality assurance

  • Email marketing strategy

  • Klaviyo execution

  • Client relationships

You’ll work closely with our Head of Client Delivery, designer, copywriter and Klaviyo tech specialist to ensure client work is completed on time and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities:

Email Marketing Delivery

  • Build, schedule and report on email campaigns in Klaviyo

  • Support with building and updating lifecycle flows

  • Create segments and flow logic

  • Use our master templates across brands

  • Test emails before going out

Project Management

  • Manage client timelines and delivery schedules

  • Coordinate tasks between copywriter, designer and builder

  • Keep ClickUp projects up to date

  • Run weekly internal delivery check-ins

Quality Assurance

  • Review email builds, flows and templates before client review

  • Test all links, filters, triggers, and conditions

  • Ensure brand consistency across all emails

  • Catch errors before clients see them

Client Communication

  • Deliver onboarding and strategy calls

  • Provide clear updates and next steps

  • Build strong, warm relationships with founder-led brands

  • Ensure clients feel supported and confident in the process

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • 3–6 years of experience in email marketing, CRM, retention or lifecycle marketing

  • Hands-on experience with Klaviyo (flows, segments, campaigns, deliverability)

  • Excellent attention to detail and QA skills

  • Strong project coordination or account management experience

  • Comfortable working across multiple client accounts

  • Strong written communication and critical thinking skills

  • Ability to work independently in a remote team

  • Experience with Shopify (nice to have)

  • Experience in an agency or multi-brand role working with high 6-figure and multiple 7-figure brands (preferred)

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
