We’ve all seen those two words: Shop Now. It’s the most overused call-to-action (CTA) in email marketing. While there’s nothing wrong with using it (it’s instantly recognisable and gets the job done), I’ve got a challenge for you. Why not think about other phrases you can use in your business that are fun, spark curiosity, and push your customers to click to find out more?

Customers see the "Shop Now" button every day, so standing out means getting a little more inventive.

Key question: What action do you want your customer to take?

Here’s the key question: “What action do you want them to take, and what’s waiting for them after they click that button?”

Whenever I’m drafting emails for clients, I always ask: “How can I make this button copy more branded, something that only this brand could say?” The goal is to come up with something that reflects the brand’s unique voice. When you do that, you know you've hit the sweet spot.

By using effective email marketing strategies and optimising email CTAs, you can significantly boost your email conversion rates. Remember, an engaging CTA can be the difference between a click and a missed sale (yikes).
