Use ChatGPT to generate “value” email ideas

I've got a time-saving tip for you today that I've been using with clients to help generate a ton of ideas really quickly for email campaigns (reels and social posts too). Sometimes all you need is a jumping off point for some great content.

Swap out the yellow highlighted bits to make it relevant for your brand and adjust until you get the output you're looking for. For example, I recently asked for "jewellery gift ideas", "Christmas gift guides" etc. to help generate ideas for Q4.

Try this ChatGPT prompt:

As a content creator for an industrial decor brand, your task is to generate unique and compelling ideas for engaging and authoritative content.

Please create a table with the following rows: Mistakes, Myths, Objections, Belief Shift,Tips,Hacks/Tricks,Lead Magnet, Meme, Poll, Questions that compel people to answer, controversy. The columns should be industrial decor, decorating your dream home and designing calm spaces

Mistakes Forgetting to balance rough textures with soft elements. Mixing too many conflicting design styles can dilute the cohesive dream-like atmosphere. Overlooking lighting choices that could create harsh or uninviting tones.
Mistakes Placing all focus on industrial materials without adding natural elements for warmth. Ignoring architectural features of the home when choosing decor pieces. Using too many cool tones without contrast can result in a sterile environment rather than a serene one.
Mistakes Misusing oversized furniture that overwhelms the space. Choosing aesthetics over practicality, leading to a space that’s beautiful but uncomfortable. Neglecting sensory experiences, like the feel of textures or the smell of materials, which can influence relaxation.
Mistakes Forgetting to use proper color accents to break up neutral and metallic color schemes. Buying pieces impulsively instead of thinking about how they contribute to the overall vision. Misjudging scale and proportion of items, which can create visual stress rather than a calming effect.

Belief Shift Industrial decor can be cozy and inviting when paired with the right elements like textiles and lighting. A dream home doesn’t have to be about luxury or perfection—it’s about what makes you feel at peace. Designing a calm space is about balancing functionality and serenity, not following a specific color scheme or style.
Belief Shift Industrial design can create a harmonious blend of vintage and modern, suiting a variety of tastes. You can create your dream home with small, thoughtful changes rather than a complete redesign. Calming spaces can include dynamic elements like bold artwork or rich textures that still promote tranquility.
Belief Shift Small industrial elements can bring a modern, chic vibe to any style of home, not just lofts or large spaces. A dream home can be whatever fits your personal aesthetic, not just what’s trending on social media. A calm space is achievable even in busy homes through small, intentional design choices.
Belief Shift Combining industrial decor with natural elements like plants can soften its look and feel. You don’t need a lot of space or money to create a dream home—clever use of existing items can help. Colorful and playful elements can exist in calm spaces, as long as the overall balance and harmony are maintained.
Belief Shift Industrial decor can be flexible enough to suit a variety of rooms, even bedrooms or nurseries. Creating your dream home is about how you feel in your space, not how it looks to others. Even bold or eclectic design choices can contribute to calm spaces if they resonate with your personal sense of tranquility.
Tips Incorporate soft fabrics like rugs and cushions to balance rougher industrial textures. Use large mirrors to reflect light and make the space feel more open. Opt for natural materials like wood and stone to evoke a sense of calm.
Tips Use varying heights and layers to create dimension and interest. Invest in timeless pieces that evoke a sense of continuity and calm. Introduce water elements like fountains to bring soothing sounds into the space.
Tips Choose a single statement piece to avoid overwhelming the space. Balance bold statement pieces with neutral tones to create harmony. Use asymmetrical arrangements to add interest without creating tension.
Tips Mix and match textures like concrete, wood, and metal for a balanced aesthetic. Create cozy nooks to add comfort and function. Use natural fibers in textiles to soften the look of the room.
Tips Don’t forget the importance of lighting—use industrial-style fixtures to tie the room together. Use architectural details as a starting point for your decor vision. Use diffused lighting to create a soft, calming ambiance throughout the space.

Pretty good, eh? Of course, ChatGPT is only as good as what you put in, so if it already understands your customer and knows your product range, even better. Give this a go, not all the ideas will be great, but hopefully it gives you enough variety to spark more ideas that you can use for campaigns this Christmas!
